Canceling Class

A Tip About Canceling Class

At the beginning of the year, when totaling up the amount of classes per year and figuring the cost per class, consider one "free" day for each day of the week. Therefore, if you must cancel class due to weather or your own sickness, you have a free class that you are not obligated to make up at a later date. If you cancel class more than once on that particular day of the week, then you must make up those class times on another day or time. If you do not cancel any classes during the year for classes on that weekday, then students will receive that extra class figured that was figured into the calendar for free. Be sure to state the cancelation policy clearly in your policy handouts at the beginning of the year.
