Time To Dance


Time To Dance

This dance recital theme is based on the keyword "Time." All the songs have to do with time, has the word time in the song, the musicians name has the word time in it, or the dances represent time keepers, such as watches. Use clocks as the shows logo or scenery.

What Time Is It- From High School Musical 2

The Time- use the song Jungle Love by the musical group The Time.

This is a good song for younger hip hop classes. Choose jungle print costumes

Time After Time- by Cyndi Lauper

Use the original song by Cyndi Lauper or a remix, such as the dance mix by Novaspace.

Time- by Hootie And The Blowfish

A good song for modern dance.

Hammer Time- You Can't Touch This by MC Hammer

Good song for hip hop class.

Time (Clock Of The Heart- by Boy George and Culture Club

This Time- by Sawyer Brown

Good song choice for beginning jazz students or tap students. Go for poodle skirts, but put a face of a clock on the skirt instead of a poodle.

Grandfather's Clock- by Doc Watson or any children's version such as the version by The Countdown Kids.

Build a grandfather clock with a door in the center of it. Have the dancers come through the door as they come on stage.
